Joining our Cloud Technology team, we are looking for a Subject Matter Expert to implement the cloud technology strategy and infrastructure for deployment across our business, including Azure infrastructure such as cloud storage, processing and interconnectivity between clouds and Specsavers WAN. In addition, this role will:

 

• Work with the cloud infrastructure companies and cloud management platform provider, creating a fully managed cloud infrastructure
• Work with IT teams to maintain virtual infrastructure and template libraries for all systems and drive migration of services
• Provide recommendation on upgrades and modifications to current existing technologies
• Promote continuous improvement of cloud technologies to enhance efficiency and work with procurement teams to ensure our suppliers are fully optimised

To be successful in this role, we would require you to be/have:

• Certification of Microsoft Azure Certification
• Demonstrate experience of design or implementation and support of distributed applications in Azure
• Be able to demonstrate an understanding of Azure principles and technologies
• Experience of building relationships with all levels of staff
