Optometrist Position

Due to recent expansion, a Full-Time Optometrist is required for a practice in Northumberland. This practice has a total of 3 test rooms and a team of 15 plus – so plenty of opportunities to grow with the support of clinical and retail professionals around you. The store is well established and has been in business for well over 20 years, working with state of art equipment, as all test rooms have brand new Auto Phoropter Refractor heads and a fundus camera for your ease. You will have the freedom to manage your own diary typically seeing anything from 16-18 patients a day.

Responsibilities of the Optometrist

As an Optometrist, you will work as part of a team focused on delivering total satisfaction to our customers by conducting thorough eye examinations, contact lens assessments, and contact lens aftercare.
You’ll offer our customers recommendations to the highest professional and ethical standards – which is something customers have come to expect. You’ll also use your knowledge to effectively identify customer needs and recommend eyewear and eye care solutions accordingly.
