Dispensing Optician - Bromley, Kent

Salary upwards of £34,000 per annum with AOP & GOC fees paid.

Established in 2003 the team has worked hard to become Bromley’s leading eye care specialists. We offer, Orthokeratology, Myopia Management, OCT and Optomap imaging. We work almost exclusively with Zeiss and stock a fabulous range of frames, including Lindberg, Face a Face and Chanel.

As a result of the continued success of the practice a Dispensing Optician opportunity has arisen within the team. 

We need someone who can:

• Build a great rapport with patients and understanding their needs and always putting their needs first.
• Interpret the prescription to make suitable recommendations and be comfortable with dispensing high quality frames and lenses.
• Be confident using the latest the equipment for dispensing and pre-testing.
• Deliver an enviable service that will keep patients coming back for more.

You will be incredibly personable and be able to communicate to a wide variety of people. It will be imperative that you have excellent product knowledge.

Other key capabilities you will need are:

• Technical knowledge relating to clinical and dispensing processes.
• Ability to explain product features and benefits in non-clinical language.
• Ability to organise your work, multi-task, and show attention to detail.
• Proactively identify and solve problems.
• Ability to competently handle questions, objections, concerns and complaints

Schedule:

• 5 days a week
• No Sundays and Bank Holidays
