I have a very exciting opportunity that has just become available within a busy multiple practice with a relaxed independent feel in a busy town outside of Guildford. The role is for an experienced Qualified Dispensing Optician on a permanent full-time contract.
Qualified Dispensing Optician Position
A very exciting opportunity has become available for a customer focused Qualified Dispensing Optician on a full time basis. This practice is situated in a busy shopping area and has a large and loyal customer base. They have a very friendly and welcoming team in place, who all work for each other to deliver the highest levels of customer care.
Responsibilities of the Qualified Dispensing Optician
The role will entail all shop floor duties such as dispensing spectacles to all levels, conducting pre-screen tests and contact lens teaches. As one of the lead dispensers in the team you will also be on hand to offer any training and support to your collagues. You will be supported by another Dispensing Optician, an Assistant Manager and 2 very experienced Directors.
You will also be required to carry out frame styling and give patients advice on best options. Reception duties and general admin will also be a part of the role and helping with the smooth running of the practice.
Requirements of the Qualified Dispensing Optician
Must be fully qualified / registered as a Qualified Dispensing Optician ideally within a busy practice.
Must be GOC registered and up to date with CET points.
A friendly and personable demeanour and strong personal work ethic.
A customer-focused approach to your work and the ability to build a strong rapport with customers and colleagues alike.
Compensation for the Qualified Dispensing Optician
For your efforts a competitive salary of up to £30,000 is on offer along with a bonus scheme and additional benefits.
