Are you a Qualified Optometrist who enjoys working in more than one practice, where no two days are the same?
My client is a large and well-established optical brand with an excellent reputation. They now require an Optometrist to work between two very well-established and highly successful practices in the North Yorkshire area.
They have built up an enviable reputation for the quality of service and products on offer and their aim is to go from strength to strength in the coming years.
This is a permanent full-time position working with two very successful managers with a split of 2+3 or 1+4 between the two.
This fantastic opportunity combines the security of a residency role with the feel of being a locum.
Responsibilities of the Optometrist
You will conduct 25-minute tests as well as complete contact lens fittings and aftercare. You will be on hand to offer clinical advice and help patients to choose the best options for their needs. As this is an independent group a dynamic and flexible approach to your work is required as everybody helps in all areas of the practice.
Requirements of the Optometrist
To apply for this position you must a fully qualified, GOC registered optometrist who is up to date with all CET requirements. You will be able to work alternate Saturdays with no Sunday and working hours of 9-5. You will ideally have at least 1 year of post-qualification experience although for the right person they could consider someone newly qualified, salary DOE, and be comfortable working as the sole optometrist in a practice. You will have a friendly professional disposition, well presented, and an excellent chair side manner.
Compensation for the Optometrist
They offer a basic salary of up to £60K package + additional benefits that covered in more detail at the interview.
