Role: Domiciliary Optical Assistant

Area: Warwick, Leamington Spa, Solihull and Straford Upon Avon

Working Hours: Full time or part time with no weekends

Salary: Up to £20,000 per annum, bonus and company car

Experience:  Optical or elderly care experience highly sought after

 

We have an exiting opportunity for a highly motivated, friendly and passionate individual in the Warwickshire area to join our expanding domiciliary team with Specsavers Home Visits.

 

Experience within either an optical practice, or from an elderly care background is highly desirable for this role.  Full training will be provided from our dedicated and close knit team.

 

As a Domiciliary Optical Assistant, you’ll ensure the delivery of a high, quality professional services to patients in their own homes and in some care home settings.  You must have high standards of dispensing and customer care, in short, you will make sure every customer gets has a great experience with us.

 

Whether you are an Optical Assistant working on the high street, or someone completely new to optics but a background in elderly care, then this could be the perfect role for you.  It will allow you to put your skills to the test and make a real difference to the quality of a person's life and help and support a local community.

 

Other Requirements

A full UK driving licence is required and additionally this is role is deemed to be regulated activity under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.  An enhanced DBS and barring list check will be required prior to commencement of the role and repeated every 3 years.
