Location: Cambuslang, Glasgow - flexibility to work between office and home

As part of the in-house marketing team, the Content Marketing Executive will play an important role to support our marketing strategy to build our brand and engage with key audiences in new and exciting ways.


You will be responsible for creating engaging content that ensures our audiences has a relevant view of Visioncall, its services and values through content marketing. You will promote Visioncall by creating multi-channel content that raises brand awareness and engagement.


The Content Marketing Executive will develop a content calendar and shape our content output. You will have previous experience of creating content across a variety of channels, managing social media, and researching market demographics. You must be confident in your copywriting/proof-reading skills and comfortable to manage demand.


In this role you will work closely with the Marketing Manager to develop engaging content across web, social, email, blog posts, imagery and video to drive online engagement throughout the customer journey and help raise our company brand. You will be confident in your skills and have experience engaging with leaders to manage demand.



Key Accountabilities:

  • Works under direction of Marketing Manager to help reach the company s marketing goals and objectives
  • Assisting with marketing campaigns
  • Develop and maintain an ongoing marketing content plan
  • Provide content marketing support across all customer touchpoints

  • Develop and maintain an ongoing content calendar, promoting Visioncall to all key audiences
  • Write marketing literature (web, blogs, brochures etc) to help raise awareness around our key services and products
  • Create regular email content for a B2B/Recruitment audience
  • Manage social media output for all company brands
  • Assists in creation of print promotional material (posters, leaflets etc)
  • Research market trends, demographics, competitors and other relevant information that assists in developing future marketing activity
  • Champion the Visioncall brand: providing fact-checking, copy-editing and formatting assistance to other areas of business in line with brand guidelines
  • Creating relevant content to support SEO strategy
  • Support PR activity where required
  • Engage with key member partners to provide regular content promoting our services
  • Work closely with the Marketing Manager to provide content marketing support on all marketing campaigns
  • Undertake administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department s activities
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in Content Marketing or other applicable Marketing Role
  • Bachelor s Degree in Marketing, Business or a related field (i.e. Journalism)
  • Proven track record of working within a fast-paced environment, demonstrating previous experience of content marketing production, particularly for digital channels (web, email, blogs etc)
  • Self-motivated and organised, with the ability to work autonomously
  • Previous experience of managing Social media channels (Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter)
  • Experience with email marketing platforms
  • Outstanding writing skills
  • Excellent communication and information sourcing skills
  • Creating visual content for Social Media (Canva)
  • Previous experience in SEO or PR is desirable
  • Previous experience of working with a CMS (Wordpress)
  • Understanding of analytics (Google Analytics)
  • Passionate about the creative process and ability to work as part of a team
