Job Details
A high end independent Opticians based in Barnsley, South Yorkshire are looking for a full or part time Dispensing Optician to join the team.
This is a unique practice in the area focussing on offering niche eyewear with personalised consultations for patients.
Dispensing Optician - Role
- Modern, high end independent Opticians
- Full private practice
- Focus on quality and customer service
- Access to niche independent brands from all over the world
- Personalised eyewear consultations - Over an hours with patients
- No contact lenses
- Working with different lens manufacturers - Seiko, Hoya Essilor etc
- Working alongside 2 experienced Dispensing Opticians
- Input into frame selection - travelling to international trade shows
- Full or part time role to include Saturdays - 3, 4 or 5 days a week (Full time preferred)
- Typical working hours from 9am to 5.30pm
- Basic salary between £20,000 to £25,000 depending on experience (May be negotiable)
- Plus bonus
- Professional fees paid
Dispensing Optician - Requirements
- Fully qualified Dispensing Optician registered with the GOC
- Final year student may also be considered
- Passionate about eyewear and styling
- Flair for fashion
- Pulse on the market
