The Opportunity – Optometrist – Superb Independent:

A long established, well-respected and forward thinking Opticians is looking for a patient focussed, commercially aware Optometrist who can help their solid permanent team of Dispensing Opticians, Optical Assistants and other Optometrists.  This employer boasts good facilities, a very good team ethic with superb staff retention, and is a highly regarded store with high satisfaction rates and a patient focussed approach.

The store is fully digitalised so workflow and the customer journey is streamlined.  The site offers specialist enhanced services such as MECS, Diabetic Screening and Covid emergency eye care.  The site is equipped to take retinal photos as well as have field screening machines which are used to detect the early signs of glaucoma.

Classed as a community based Independent Opticians, the client also offer specialist Dry eye, Orthoptic and minor eye conditions assessments which are usually only available through referral to hospital services or General Practice.

This is truly a superb employer who can offer more than the average Optometrist role and there is the opportunity to progress to Senior Optometrist in the future.

Position: Optometrist

Location: Lichfield

Hours: 2 – 5 days Considered

Salary: £45,000-£50,000 per annum + Indemnity + Pension + 25 days holiday + BH + GOC Fees Paid   

Registration Requirements: Full GOC Registration Required, Newly Qualified Considered
