Optical Practice Manager
Here is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced Practice Manager with a high end independent in an affluent area near Guildford.
My client boasts an excellent level of customer service which has been recognised within the community and have won awards for their level of service.
This role is to be working full time 5 days – 9:00-17:00 with 30 min lunch (must include Saturdays).

This independent high street optician, who have a fantastic reputation for their high-quality service, friendly enthusiastic team and patient focus being priority are looking to add to their team by recruiting an experienced and confident Optical Manager to take on an all-round role where you will also be the main Dispenser.
Responsibilities of the Optical Practice Manager
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Dispenser with extensive technical knowledge and can competently work to their own initiative.
You will be able to dispense high-end frames/ lenses comfortably as my client’s team regularly have orders over £1000
You must be able to give all product details, information and advice to your patients
A priority for this role is looking for superb customer service bringing back “the customer is always right” type attitude.
What is also important is your ability to build rapport and converse with patients, while getting involved in the day to day tasks of the store.
As well as all shopfloor duties you will be managing the store with full autonomy, guiding and supporting the team and bringing new ideas to help develop the practice.
Requirements of the Optical Practice Manager
At least 3 years+ as an Optical Practice Manager ideally within a busy high-end practice.
The main thing my client is looking for is exceptional customer service coupled with an extensive optical knowledge looking after complex prescriptions, high-end designer frames along with the personality to fit in with the team and the practice culture.
A friendly and personable demeanour and strong personal work ethic – confident, friendly, smart and has a sense of humour.
A customer-focused approach to your work and the ability to build a strong rapport with customers and colleagues alike while occasionally dealing with complaints/ queries.
Compensation for the Optical Practice Manager
For your efforts a competitive salary is on offer depending on experience (up to £32,000)
