They now require a full-time Optometrist to work in the Oxford area based in one of their practices with everyday different you will become an integral part of the future of the company.
They have a reputation for the quality of service and products on offer and their aim is to go from strength to strength in the coming years.
o Salary of up to £68,000
o 30-minute test times
o Avg of 13/14 tests per day
o 9am-5:30pm hours, no lates, no Suns
Responsibilities of the Optometrist.
You will have a testing time of 30 minutes and on average test 13/14 patients per day, you will also be clinically sensitive to the needs of the patient, yet understand the commercial requirements of the business. You will able to demonstrate your commercial understanding by making suitable recommendations in accordance with the patients’ prescription within the consulting room, then relaying this information to the Optical Assistant at the handover stage.
You will be on hand to answer any difficult questions and share your clinical knowledge with patients and the team. It is paramount you integrate into this small close-knit team and demonstrate a real passion for your role.
Requirements of the Optometrist
To apply for this position, you will need to be a fully qualified optometrist who is GOC registered and up to date with all CET requirements. You will be hardworking and clinically minded who is passionate about customer service and patient care. You will have a successful career to date and be able to demonstrate great interpersonal skills, knowledge and expertise in your specialist field. It is vitally important that you have a flexible working attitude ensuring that the patient is always put first.
Compensation for the Optometrist
On offer is an excellent salary of up to £68,000, free pair of glasses for friends and family.

¢ Monday – Saturday 9:00-5:00pm (choose days to suit)
¢ Professional fees paid
¢ £68,000 (dependent upon experience)
