With a new start at Specsavers, there’s no telling how far you’ll go.
At Specsavers, we strive for the highest clinical standards – and believe that the customer should be at the heart of everything we do. We also recognise that our people are critical to our past and future success – so we do everything we can to make sure they get the experience and career they’re looking for: from outstanding training and a personal development plan, to excellent benefits and unstinting support.
You’ve got the drive. Now you’ve found the business that shares your ambition. Specsavers have become the number one provider of professional eyecare in the UK – and we don’t intend to stop there. With our outstanding training and ever-growing business, there’s every opportunity to advance and excel.
As a Laboratory Technician, you’ll be preparing customer prescriptions to the highest standards and using the latest computer-controlled equipment. It’s all about providing an excellent single vision glazing service that helps the store to maximise sales and profitability. One day you could be repairing spectacles, the next, you could be glazing and tinting single vision lenses. The important thing is that you’ll be learning all the time – building on your knowledge with the help of your expert colleagues.
You’ll receive all the development and training needed, but an eye for detail is a must. You should also be good with people and able to work as part of a team. You’ll be friendly and organised too, presenting a professional image to customers at all times.
