There are 3 directors, one being a Qualified Dispensing Optician and the other two Optometrists.
All three practices have Qualified Dispensing Opticians in place and the group have a fantastic history of team retention with some having 20 years’ service.
They have long and short form rooms to work in, all well-equipped and OCT to enhance the customer journey.
All pre & post tests done for you so all you have to do is testing and cleaning the room in between patients.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a very successful group as a full time Optometrist on a full or part time permanent basis.
My client is referred to as the optician of choice in the local communities, offering exceptional service and care as well as a full range of products and services to suit any budget.
*All applicants must have full GOC registration with CET requirements met and be team orientated.
If you are MECs certified this would be an advantage.
Responsibilities of the Optometrist
Your primary function in this position will be to conduct thorough 25 minute sight tests and contact lens fitting. You will be on hand to offer advice and share your clinical expertise. You will effectively manage your time and ensure that each patient is seen promptly and that every patient leaves having had a positive experience. You will make recommendations and discuss options available to patients before handing them over to an experienced member of the dispensing team.
Requirements of the Optometrist
To apply for this position you need to be a fully qualified Optometrist who is registered with the GOC and up to date with all CET requirements
You will be a clinically minded individual with good time management skills and an excellent chair side manner. You will be supported by a highly professional dispensing and management team allowing you to focus on delivering the high levels of customer service this company is known for.
*You must be OK to work Saturdays and Sundays but there is flexibility with options of one weekend day per week or working both weekend days one week and having the following weekend off. Working hours are Monday to Saturday 9-6 and Sunday 1-4 on a 40 hour per week contract.
Compensations for the Optometrist
On offer for your efforts is a very competitive salary basic of up to £50,000 DOE with a personal bonus scheme in place to enhance your earnings, (Scheme suspended at present due to COVID), and GOC fees paid with AOP also paid if you do Supervision
