A patient focused independent Opticians based in Derby (4 miles from the centre) are looking to recruit a full or part time Optical Assistant to join the team. This long standing practice has gained an excellent reputation in the local area for the quality of the products and services available.
Optical Assistant - The Role
- Progressive independent with the latest technology
- Spending time with each patient to understand personal requirements
- Assisting with dispensing
- Pre-screening
- Reception and admin - Booking appointments, etc
- Meeting and greeting patients
- Contact lens teaches
- Stock management
- Providing outstanding levels of customer service
- Working alongside 2-3 Dispensing Opticians
- Working full or part time including a Saturday (Ideally 4 days a week)
- Salary is typically £9.10/hr
