Need to know

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, fully qualified and registered Optometrist to join us on a mobile basis based out of our Truro, River Street practice at Boots Opticians, ideally on a full time basis. We would be open to part time too, as we understand flexibility is important for our Optometrists.

You will have fantastic support from an experienced store and area leader and a great team of people to work with every day, supporting our loyal patient base.
Truro is a vibrant centre of shopping, culture and impressive architecture right in the heart of Cornwall. Centre stage is Truro Cathedral with its impressive gothic towers dominating the skyline. In its shadow, a warren of compact streets are home to an impressive array of independent traders. From boutiques to bookshops and designer interiors to delicatessens, this great little city offers a unique shopping experience. The café culture is pretty impressive too, with hip coffee houses, artisan ice creameries and cocktail bars dotted across the centre. There is a yearlong festival programme, weekly food markets and several art galleries, cultural events and historical attractions

Public travel links are great. Truro railway station serves the city and is around a 10 minute walk to the store and has direct services from London Paddington, South Wales and Scotland. There is plenty of parking available and the best way to get to us is by joining the M5 or the A30/A39 junction.

We would love to hear from you and discuss what is on offer - get in touch for a confidential chat!
