Optical Assistant

I have a very exciting opportunity that has just become available within a big and busy multiple practice with several test rooms and a large close knit team 40+ strong.
The role is for an experienced Administration Assistant on a permanent full time contract.

Days – 5 days out of 7 to include weekends
Hours – 9am-5pm
Salary – £17,500 – £20,000

This practice is very well established and has a very strong local customer base. This is a busy store with quite a large team and due to continued success they are looking to add somebody to the team who can help support in an Admin role

Responsibilities of the Optical Assistant

The role will be a purely an administration role and your main tasks will involve, answering phones, handling queries, organising rota’s, helping with payroll and completing NHS forms.

Requirements of the Optical Assistant

At least 1 year of experience working within an optician as you will need to understand the admin duties within an opticians and have an optical background.
A good telephone manner – clear and polite
A friendly and personable demeanour and strong personal work ethic.
A customer focused approach to your work and the ability to build a strong rapport with customers and colleagues alike.

Compensation for the Optical Assistant

For your efforts a competitive salary of up to £20,000 is on offer.
Sociable hours – 9am-5pm
