Are you passionate about the optical sector and delivering an outstanding customer service? If so, then join our fast growing dynamic company. We are currently looking for a full-time Optical Consultant who will provide support to the key functions within our company stores.

The opportunity

A vital role in providing our customers and patients the very best experience at our own brillen.co.uk stores at every step of the customer journey. You will drive sales through great product knowledge and style advice to provide the most appropriate eyewear solutions for customers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Creating great rapport with customers and understand their needs throughout their journey; making recommendations suited to the customer’s vison and lifestyle needs
  • Using the Optometrist’s recommendations to build perfect product solutions for the customer using our unique product portfolio
  • Delivering the technical tasks in the practice by ensuring the safe supply of eyewear, such as ordering, verification, glasses collections, glasses adjustments and relevant administration
  • Delivering operational processes and tasks relating to the role

About you

You will be incredibly personable and be able to communicate to a wide variety of customers. It will be imperative that your product knowledge on lens, frames, and brands is excellent and you have the confidence to share this consistently.

Other key capabilities you will need are:

  • Engaging product presentation through simple and effective means to explain product features
  • Building on technical knowledge relating to clinical and dispensing processes
  • Fact finding and active listening

  • Rapport and relationship building with customers and colleagues
  • Ability to organise your work, multitask, and show attention to detail
  • Proactively identify and solve problems
  • Ability to tactfully and competently handle questions, objections and concerns/complaints
