Job Details
A small group of independent Opticians based in Bournemouth, Dorset are looking for a full time Optical Assistant to join the team.
This is a long established, family run group which is recognised for its personalised and professional service. Their core values are to Delight Impress and Value each and every client irrespective of their spend level.
Optical Assistant - Role
- Working between 2-3 practices which are all close by
- Established for over 30 years
- State of the art practices
- Lovely close knit team
- Working with a wide range of designer and bespoke brands - Modo, Vanni, Wolf, Tom Ford
- Assisting the Dispensing Opticians
- Reception duties
- Repairs and adjustments
- Collections
- Working full time including Saturdays - 9am to 5.30pm
- No Sundays
- Salary between £18,000 to £20,000 DOE
Optical Assistant - Requirements
- Previous Optical experience
- Excellent customer service skills
- Must be calm, comfortable and confident at all times when talking to patients
- Dispensing experience
- Experience of running a reception desk
- Driving licence and car would be desirable
- Hands on
- Good IT skills
- Outgoing and pleasant manner
