Optometrist

A small group of independent Opticians based in North Yorkshire (HG and YO Postcodes) are looking for a full time Optometrist to join the team. These practices all have a focus on offering patients a quality and professional service.

Optometrist - Role

• Small group of 3 practices
• Role due to expansion
• Working between 2-3 practices
• Well established in the area
• Loyal patient base spanning generations
• Single testing rooms
• 45 Min Tests
• Relaxed, friendly environment
• Trial frames and fundus camera
• Pre-screening done by the Optom
• Input into clinical management
• Working 4.5 days a week (4 week days and half a day Sat)
• Salary between £43,000 to £50,000 DOE
• Staff discount
• 30 Days holiday including bank holidays
• Professional fees paid
• Free parking

Optometrist - Requirements

• Fully qualified Optometrist registered with the GOC
• 2 + years qualified
• Hands on - Willing to get involved outside of the test room
• Wants to help develop and grow the business
• Wants to be a part of a friendly, close knit team
• Excellent communication skills
• Patient focused
• Dynamic
