We have multiple vacancies for experienced Optical Laboratory Technicians in our manufacturing laboratory.

You will be supporting the leadership team and ensuring that the highest quality glazing service is delivered. Attention to detail and being organised is paramount as well as being a team player. A desire to build on your knowledge and a can do attitude will progress your career.

You can expect your day to be varied and to be supportive to those less experienced than you. We expect our lab technicians not only to be vigilant (minimal errors and maximum productivity) at all stages of the process but also to have an outstanding work ethic.  This is a fast paced environment in order to achieve maximum sales and profitability through management of the in-store lab team.

The ideal candidates are those who are able to communicate at all levels, work using their own initiative, meet targets set to maintain the workflows in production and are confident in their commercial understanding of lenses and frames. Ideally, we are looking for technicians with at least 2 years experience. Role includes all aspects of optical glazing. In return, you will be joining a successful and hardworking team using our cutting edge equipment and computerised machinery, ranging from MEI systems to Nidek thus ensuring that our laboratory is one of the highest standard labs in the country.

The salary package is flexible, depending on experience but you can expect to receive excellent training as well as long-term career development. A performance related bonus scheme rewards those who exceed in gaining personal and departmental achievements.

In summary, this is a fantastic opportunity for personal growth and development as well as working for one of the UK's leading online optical retailers where you will be part of independently managed opticians.
