My client is a high end clinically driven independent in a strong location who is now seeking to employ an Optometrist, working between Monday to Saturday (with a day off in the week) offering up to £45k basic for the right person.
I am currently working with a very high end clinical independent that is looking to recruit a new full time experienced Optometrist to further strengthen their clinical team and be a part of the future of the practice.
Very clinical practice using HRT – Heidelberg as well as Cara Tonometer, Phoropter Heads & Charts and Slit Lamp and fully air con test room. The practice is also now using a paperless system and having a professionally driven support team in place making it a very comfortable and professional environment to work.

Responsibilities of the Optometrist

You will be required to test eyes in 30 minute clinics with contact lens work also undertaken
Being able to hand over to the dispensing team in a professional manner allowing for the client’s requirements whilst keeping in mind the needs of the business.

Requirements of the Optometrist
Must be GOC qualified
Be clinically driven but also commercially aware
Be able to provide an excellent level of customer service

Compensation of the Optometrist
For your efforts a competitive salary of up to £45,000 is on offer as well as any clinical training you may need.
