A leading client in South East London are looking for a part time Optometrist who can bring something new and exciting to their fantastic team. You will work closely together to ensure the highest optical standards are met, along with taking each customer through their own personalised customer journey.
This company is very well established and situated on a busy high street in a bustling location. This company offer a comprehensive sight test in a bright and clean test room. This role would suit a newly qualified Optometrist who is looking to gain exposure to a wide variety patient base or an experienced Optometrist with the skills and experience to deal with complex and interesting cases. My client are looking for someone who will enjoy being part of a close-knit team/community and where building your own customer base will be essential. Repeat business will be pivotal for you to succeed in this location, so the client will ensure you have all the tools required to assist the customer in every step of their journey.
Responsibilities of the Optometrist
In this role, you will provide excellence in clinical care to your patients and work as part of a small team. You will be responsible for providing eye tests, contact lens fitting, aftercare advice, maintaining accurate patient records and keeping up to date with product and professional knowledge to conduct a thorough sight tests offering your expert opinion and making recommendations. You will be on hand to answer any difficult questions and share your clinical knowledge with patients and the team.
Requirements of the Optometrist
To apply for this position you will need to be a fully qualified Optometrist who is GOC registered and up to date with all CET requirements. You will be hard working and clinically minded who is passionate about customer service and patient care. You will have a successful career to date and be able to demonstrate great interpersonal skills, knowledge and expertise in your specialist field.
