We are currently working with a brand new practice of an already well established and successful franchise in Staines to help find an Optometrist who shares their passion for customer service.
This practice already has a loyal customer base from their other practice made up of mainly private patients with expensive tastes. This practice is owned by 2 very successful directors who have a clear vision of how to grow the business and due to their continued success they are now looking to add to the team.
The ideal candidate will ideally be an experienced Optometrist looking for a new challenge, you will be involved with an ambitious team all thriving for excellence but also helping each other through their day to day roles. You will be an ambitious, driven individual, looking to forge a long term career.
Responsibilities of the Optometrist
Performing eyes tests at 25 minute appointments
Be confident and professional with your 3 way handovers, recommendations and referrals
Be able to build quality patient rapport
Adhering to all GOC guidelines
Building excellent patient reports
Contact Lens Fittings
Requirements of the Optometrist
Must be GOC registered
Open to newly qualified or experienced
A friendly and personable demeanour and strong personal work ethic.
A customer focused approach to your work and the ability to build a strong rapport with customers and colleagues alike.
Must be able to work well within a team
You must be able to work every Saturday and 1 in 3 Sundays
Compensation for the Optical Assistant.
On offer is a starting salary of up to £50,000 + benefits for the right person.
You will be taking on an opportunity to develop a practice as there is room to grow with a high footfall, an affluent area and having new ownership of this practice and they will look to make a big difference.
You will also receive some further training, develop onto WOPEC or down the managerial side and join a professional team in a fun and relaxed environment.
