Domiciliary Optometrist - Clwyd, North East Wales

An excellent opportunity has arisen at our Specsavers Home Visits domiciliary team for a qualified Optometrist to cover territories within The Wirral, Chester, Clwyd & Snowdonia locations.

Specsavers Home Visits provide a comprehensive eyecare service to those who cannot get to our practices without assistance.

Seeing patients in their own environment is a great basis for interaction & building long lasting relationships. Specsavers Home Visits provides you with a lot of freedom, allowing you to have more time with each individual patient. This enables you to deliver a strong, personal experience, so you can truly deliver high quality care.

Day to day role

Our patients request an appointment, have an eye examination in their own environment; choose their spectacles; which in turn are delivered to their own home. Spectacles are fitted there-after and you will provide an aftercare service.

You will always be accompanied by an Optical Advisor. Our Optical Advisor will support you with dispensing and administration.

Every day is different, from homes; locations and of course different people.

You

You will be a qualified GOC Optometrist with a Welsh Registration.

You will have a warm personality; be clinically confident and happy to see the difference your important work makes to your patient’s lives. Previous experience in Domiciliary is not required.

We offer a paid “shadow” day where you can observe and see what we do in our Home Visits team for yourself.
