Audiologist/Hearing Aid Dispenser - Edgware Road Hearcare

Role: Audiologist/Hearing Aid Dispenser
Location: Edgware Road to cover clinics in the surrounding area
Hours: Full time - Monday to Friday hours possible 
Experience level: For this role you will need to be a qualified Audiologist/Hearing Aid Dispenser and able to HCPC register

With a recent influx of NHS patients many of our stores now provide as many NHS hearing tests as they do private hearing tests. Specsavers are now accredited by over half of the NHS Clinical Commissioning Groups in England to provide NHS hearing services in local community settings, helping people to get the assistance they need with their hearing closer to home. You’ll therefore have a variety of patients in your day to day role meaning no two days are ever the same!

Our Hearcare businesses consist of the ‘hub’ store and a number of ‘spoke’ stores. The business will be named after the hub store. They then provide clinics in the spokes which are located in the nearby surrounding area and are usually Specsavers stores. We have also branched out into external clinics in various NHS locations in the local area. As our hearcare business continues to grow some of our hub stores are now stand alone stores that offer hearing tests only. Lastly, many of our hearcare businesses offer domiciliary to our patients that are unable to visit us in store. 

This role will cover our hub store at Edgware Road and the surrounding spokes in the Specsavers stores in Bishopsgate, Brunswick, Golders Green, Hammersmith, Queensway and Surrey Quays. You may also be required to cover some clinics in our Camden hub and it's spokes in the Specsavers stores in Holloway, Islington, Kilburn, London Wall, Strand and Tottenham Court Road. You will receive a rota in advance so that you know which Specsavers store you'll be in each day. We offer private and AQP testing across the stores and we also wax removal.
