Audiologist/Hearing Aid Dispenser - Poole Hearcare

Role: Audiologist/Hearing Aid Dispenser
Location: Poole to cover clinics in Blandford and Bridport 
Hours: We are happy to consider part time and full time applicants (please note that some weekend work will be required for both full time and part time)
Experience level: For this role you will need to be a qualified Audiologist/Hearing Aid Dispenser and able to HCPC register

With a recent influx of NHS patients many of our stores now provide as many NHS hearing tests as they do private hearing tests. 

Specsavers Hearcare in Poole

The role will cover clinics in the Specsavers stores in Poole, Blandford Forum and Bridport. You will receive a rota in advance so that you'll know which store you'll be based in each day. We have equipment at each store and dedicated hearcare rooms at Poole and Blandford. We have shared room at Bridport but all the equipment you'll need is already there. We also offer wax removal in store and we're happy to book you onto a course if you've not done this before. 

We have a team of four currently and we're looking for a fifth person to join us. We're happy to consider newly qualified Audiologists/HADs and if you're joining us from the NHS we're happy to support you with your transition into private hearcare. Within this role you'll be testing both NHS and private patients. 

Our Director at Poole Hearcare is called Amy. Amy joined Specsavers over 6 ago initially starting in the optical department. As with many of the team at Poole she trained via distance learning to be a Hearing Aid Dispenser qualifying in 2016. She went on to do our pathway programme to become a Hearcare Director 2 years ago. Amy is really supportive of development including the wax removal course and of course directorship. So if you're interested in taking the next step with Specsavers, Amy will be able to provide fantastic support!
