My client is a family focussed Independent company with a number of practices in South East London and North Kent, and they are now looking to recruit a Dispensing Optician to manage one of their well-established stores in a busy North Kent location.
This company is very well respected within the industry due to its excellent reputation for patient care. They focus on employing professional team members with some reception support to ensure their discerning clientele receive the best care and advice.

Responsibilities of the Optical Practice Manager

You will lead a professional team of 4-5 from the front driving sales and increasing business, identifying any staff training opportunities as you go. Ensure all company procedures are completed in a timely and professional manner. Also, liaise with the company director to discuss progress and new business opportunities.

Requirements of the Optical Practice Manager

The ideal candidate will be a consummate professional with an ‘easy to talk to’, warm and customer focussed approach to their role.

You must be a GOC registered Dispensing Optician.

*This role would suit either someone who has held a role with responsibilities from either an independent or a multiple environment with someone looking to work in a more relaxed atmosphere.

Compensation for the Optical Practice Manager

In return, they are offering a competitive salary package of £28,000 – £35,000 plus life style friendly working hours of Mon – Fri 9am – 5:30pm, Sat 9am – 2pm.
