Join one of the biggest international names of Optical Lens Manufacturers in a new field sales account manager role
Experienced Account Manager required on a 1-year contract with an international brand covering a great area in Surrey.
Offering a salary of up to £33,000 + commission (up to £20,000 per year) + car + benefits
AIM OF JOB
” To consolidate existing sales and increase profitable sales of independent opticians
” Using marketing strategy to meet turnover targets
” To develop, build and maintain relationships that will develop sales
” Keeping in contact with regular customers and keeping a strong working relationship to keep being the preferred supplier
” To agree and implement customer training, both in practice and in seminar format, on all new and existing products to improve added value sales.
” To maintain accurate customer records and reports for relevant accounts to ensure that sales data and market activity can be analysed accurately
” Ensure product knowledge is maintained and up to date
” To continually assess the market, maintaining customer and competitor records to identify opportunities and be able to provide call reports, monthly reports and forward planning sheets as required by Sales Management team.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
” MUST HAVE OPTICAL FIELD SALES EXPERIENCE (2 YEARS MINIMUM)
” A good understanding of the UK Optical Market including competitor products.
” Time management skills, organisational skills and communication skills.
” Interpersonal and goal-oriented skills are essential
” Computer literate (excel & word)
” Full Driving Licence (Essential)
” Managing your territory – knowing your area and your products
” Managing your account – what each customer needs/wants are
” Account Selling – effective planning and communication
” Building your business – Has a strong grasp of the market and how it impacts the business, manage and grow territory
” Building your network – keeping in contact with Eye Care Professionals to leverage business and personal growth.
