Let us develop your career and take you further- previous experience for this role is essential.

Specsavers began more than 35 years ago with the vision of two optometrists, Doug and Mary Perkins, who set out to provide best-value eyecare to everybody. Their passion for optometry has led Specsavers to become the largest privately-owned optical group in the world, delivering high-quality, affordable optical and hearing care in 10 countries. And it continues to shape the lives and experience of thousands of colleagues who are developing their careers with us across the globe. We are proud of how far we’ve come as a business, now we want to see you grow with us too.

As an Optical Assistant, with a focus on diary and clinic management, you’ll make sure that the store’s clinic area runs like clockwork. That means making sure you’re familiar with systems, handling orders and dealing directly with customers.

At Specsavers, we do everything in our power to help people like you get the career you want. Why? Because we know that our Optical Assistants are responsible for providing outstanding service. So, you can expect not just support and encouragement, but the kind of career development and training that are only available through a large – and growing – business like ours.

For a role such as this, you will need previous optical experience. Equally important are good customer care skills. You’ll combine both to offer a highly professional service that will result in repeat business, increased profitability and an excellent reputation for your store.
