Retail Manager - Sister Stores Watford / Rickmansworth

Job Overview:

Responsible for a large team over 2 floors, you will work towards Key Performance Indicators, ensuring you are maximising sales and profit whilst leading and inspiring our team to provide the excellent customer service our business is built upon. Supporting the Store Directors with the day to day running and responsibilities required in store, your main focus will be on first class multiple clinic management which will include leading and directly line managing staff.  Experience in performing 1-1 appraisals, associated follow up meetings and assisting with HR and Recruitment.   Developing our staff is key to the growth of the business, so using your own expertise and knowledge as well as our in-house courses to maximise personal development across the team is key. In addition to this you must be able to handle and resolve customer complaints and queries. (If you are  Dispensing Optician, then you will be required to the same role but assist on the shop floor regarding any clinical matters.)

You:

We are looking for someone who has strong supervisory or management experience within an optical retailer with proven track history in planning, management of staff, forecast knowledge and you will be the driving our store's progress, setting standards, inspiring staff and leading by example. Through your keen interest in people management you will influence how our business is run and have your say on our next steps. Ideally, you will have previous line management experience within a similar sized Optical business.
