Are you looking to join a high end and long established independent group working a well equipped practice in the Derbyshire area?
*YOU MUST HAVE AT LEAST 1 YEARS EXPERIENCE WORKING IN AN OPTICIANS AND IN POCESSION OF FULL GOC REGISTRATION.
This well-established independent group have just informed had an opening become available for a Qualified Dispensing Optician for a 4.5 day / 5.5-day rolling rota. They have very well trained and close knit teams in place and looking to replace a strong member who is moving on after a long
and loyal service.
You will be looking to deliver to the highest standards in customer service as my client’s mantra is quality service and goods, not quantity within a practice which has a loyal varied patient base.
Responsibilities of the Qualified Dispensing Optician
Your day-to-day roles will include dispensing to all levels, pre-screen, contact lens teach.
You will be able to help support your fellow colleagues where needed and offer support and advice when needed. Reception and admin duties may occasionally be a part of your role
Requirements of the Qualified Dispensing Optician
Must be GOC registered and up to date with CET points
Must be a team player and ideally some level of experience within an independent
There is a need to work between two practices on a weekly rota basis and as such ideally be a driver.
Compensation for the Qualified Dispensing Optician
They are offering up to £28,000 basic for the right experience with benefits to include GOC fees paid and auto-enrolment pension and profit share.
The practice hours are as follows:
Working hours for both practices range from 9.00am to 17.30pm with no Sunday opening and earlier finish on Saturdays generally.
