A very exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced and sales focused Optical Assistant on a full time, permanent basis in a very busy practice in West Sussex.
You will be taking on a senior role leading the dispensing team from the front as a team leader. The current dispensing team is approx. 10 strong and need a certain individual who can drive the team to exceed the current targets.

This practice is situated on a busy high street and has a large and loyal customer base. They have a very friendly and welcoming team in place, who all work for each other to deliver the highest levels of customer care.

Responsibilities of the Optical Assistant

The role will primarily entail dispensing spectacles to all levels as well as conducting pre-screen tests and contact lens teaches. You will also be required to carry out frame styling and give patients advice on best options. Reception duties and general admin will also be a part of the role and helping with the smooth running of the practice.

Requirements of the Optical Assistant

As an Optical Assistant within this practice, you will work on the shop floor in the dispensing team.
You will need to be able to dispense to all levels comfortable
You will have a proven track record and be able to thrive in busy environments
As a senior Optical Assistant your personal target will be £7,500 per week with an average transactional value of £140
As a key requirement of this role you must be able to work weekends and can work 1 day per weekend (Sat or Sun)
