20-25 Minute testing as standard

The role is to work 3 days including some Saturdays, with 9-5.30 opening hours and no Sundays

Responsibilities of the Optometrist

You will conduct sight tests in 20 – 25 minute slots and also complete Contact Lens fittings and aftercares as well as help advise and recommend products working with the team to offer the best patient experience.
As with all independent practices every member of staff helps out in all areas of the practice as required.

Requirements of the Optometrist

A good mix of clinical side as well as an understanding of the commercial aspects of the business.
The ideal applicant will be hard working and clinically focused.
You will be a friendly and approachable person with a good attitude with strong team ethos.
A proactive approach to your work is required as when not testing you will be happy to be on the shop floor answering questions and helping in other areas of the store.
This company is looking for a long term resident optometrist to help further develop the business and maintain this company’s good reputation.
*You must be flexible to work 3 from 6 across Monday to Saturday.

Compensation of the Optometrist

On offer to the right person is a competitive salary of up to £50,000 basic, (depending on experience), plus all professional fees paid. A bonus scheme in place with sociable working hours offering a good work/life balance.
