A very exciting opportunity has become available for an Optometrist on a part-time, permanent basis with an independent optician.
They have a great reputation, a loyal patient base and have a very friendly and relaxed feel.

This independent, high street optician are looking to add to their team by recruiting an Optometrist to join their experienced the Guildford area.

My client is looking for an enthusiastic and committed individual with a passion for optics, a good, strong work ethic and someone who takes pride in doing a job to the best of their ability.
Located in an excellent location in a very nice town, this attractive practice is equipped to the highest standard and boasts an excellent customer base and a wide range of products.

Responsibilities of the Optometrist

You will be in a modern test room completing eye tests in 45-minute appointments which will include pre-screening and OCT.
You will be able to provide excellent customer service and speak to your patients in a friendly, confident yet professional manner.
Be a key part of the company and work with the team to help drive business and maintain the excellent reputation they currently have.
What is most important, is your ability to build rapport and converse with patients, while getting involved in the day to day tasks of the store.

Requirements of the Optometrist

Must be GOC registered
Open to newly qualified or experienced
A customer-focused approach to your work and the ability to build a strong rapport with customers and colleagues alike.
An enthusiastic and friendly personality with a strong work ethic and passion for optics.
Someone who takes pride in doing their job to the best of their ability and goes the extra mile.

Compensation for the Optometrist

For your efforts, a competitive salary of up to £60,000 is on offer.
Free parking only a 5-10 min walk from the practice.

You will also have the opportunity to receive some further training and join a professional team in a fun and relaxed environment.
Working 9:00-5:30 Monday to Saturday with a day off in the week.
No Sundays or Bank holidays
