To assist the Store JVP in the management of store operations in order to achieve excellent customer service, financial goals and business objective 

 

About the Role 

• Understand and motivate retail staff to get results through managing performance positively 

• Manage customer service and ensure all customer complaints are dealt with efficiently and effectively 

• effectively 
• Plan, manage and understand and implement highest possible levels of retail and customer service standards 
• Implement retail targets based on Key Performance Indicators within the store 
• Ensure staff understand the tasks and performance standards expected of them 
• Set performance objectives for all retail staff and review on a regular basis 
• Run regular staff meetings and performance updates 
• Support the In Store Trainer to ensure that all retail staff have the appropriate skills for their role 

• Manage the recruitment and induction of new staff, understand and motivate store staff to get results 
• Ensure the leadership vision in the store is in line with Specsavers Vision and Values 
• Utilise reports and management information in relation to Key Performance Indicators 
• Set relevant performance targets and bonus schemes for all staff 
• Discuss and set business objectives with the store JVP/Director 
• Understand employment law and manage staff performance accordingly 
• Develop commercial opportunities through effective PR, marketing and corporate products 
• Create a culture of “Customer First” in store
