Need some locum days in Central London?

We're currently seeking a locum looking to work 2 days on a regular basis on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday.

This will be for a new Retina Clinic as they are looking to expand their clinic in this manner.

What to expect:

• 2 days per week (ideally a Wednesday, Thursday or Friday), 7.5 hours per day.
• £300 - £350 a day 
• Looking for someone ASAP 

What would entail of the role:

The Retina Optometrist will be required to perform pre and post-operative consultations on all retina patients and study patients as well as assisting the Lead Retina Nurse and the Retina Research Assistant with the retinal studies such as YAG laser vitreolysis and surgery for Vision Degrading Myodesopsiae, Photo-Biomodulation and Gene Therapy in AMD, Wide Field OCT and Imaging of the Peripheral Vitreoretinal Interface, amongst others.

The Retina Optometrist will need to be confident in using all the latest diagnostic and research resources including Optomap digital wide- field multispectral imaging, Microperimetry, 3D Fourier-Domain as well as the new Infra-Red Swept Source DRI Cross-Sectional OCT, wide-field OCT, OCT angiography and Photo-Biomodulation.

• Clean faultless GOC record
