Optical Assistant Role

This company is a well-established with a solid customer base and good reputation. Their clientele is mainly private and they offer a range of frames to suit. The practice is situated in a high-end area of London on a busy high street. My client requires somebody reliable who is hard working and looking for a long-term position.

Responsibilities of the Optical Assistant

The role will be have strong dispensing abilities including trouble shooting and problem solving to high standard. Therefore, you will take care of all dispensing, admin, reception and supporting the optometrist to ensure that the clinic runs smoothly. You will be a key holder and responsible for the day-to-day operation of the store. You will be well supported by a highly experience company director who will be on hand to assist you.

Requirements of the Optical Assistant

To apply for this position you need to have a good level of optical experience. You will need to be able to dispense to all levels, pre-screen and CL teach. You will be happy working alone and you will be able to trouble shoot and deal with situations as they arise. You need to be reliable with a stable work history and experience working with high-end products.

Compensation for the Optical Assistant

On offer for your efforts is a substantial salary of £23k along with other bonuses and benefits, sociable working hours and career freedom.
