The role will be delivering eye tests to a high standard with some contact lens work undertaken. You will be expected to make recommendations to patients who will then be passed on to the support team. As a part of the senior team your input will also be acknowledged with matters of taking the business forward.Requirements of the Optometrist
All levels of qualification considered but it is essential to be commercially aware for the ongoing success of the business. You will have a friendly and personable demeanour and strong personal work ethic. A customer focused approach to your work and the ability to build a strong rapport with customers and colleagues alike. They are open to full or part time and can tailor the working patterns to suit the applicants in line with business requirements.Compensation for the Optometrist
For you they have put together a strong basic salary of up to £50,000 basic, (dependent on experience and working patterns), and additional benefits including up to 38 days holidays and all professional fees paid. You will also have the opportunity for ongoing personal development but more importantly the chance to go on to ownership of your own practice in the future.
