Role:

We are currently looking to appoint a part time Travel Coordinator to join our travel department based in Cumbernauld on a 20 hour per week basis. The travel department’s aim is to provide a comprehensive travel service to support the needs of the business and also conferencing / events. The Travel Coordinator will provide general administrative support within the travel department which will involve all of the day-to-day aspects of travel administration; working to tight deadlines this is a challenging and fast paced role with a requirement to handle multiple jobs simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Key Accountabilities:

Ensure all travel requests comply with company guidelines before responding / completing
Ensure the most economic options are chosen for all requests
Maintain accurate records of all transactions made
Identify and assist with any issues regarding travel arrangements
Assist with specific travel initiatives
Administer Travel Tracking processes and Compliance of processes and travel policy
Answering and making phone calls 
First line response to assist colleagues 
General paperwork and administrative tasks 
Any other duties as required

Essential Skills:

Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to absorb and convey highly technical information
Adaptable with a flexible approach to work 
Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks
A confident and professional individual who has fantastic organisational skills
Ability to demonstrate both a clinical and sales aptitude
An articulate and presentable candidate is essential
Fluent English language skills are essential, (IELTS grade 6 or above)
Good experience of Microsoft office and outlook
Excellent telephone manner
Meticulous attention to detail
Demonstrate confidentiality, integrity and discretion
