The Company

A well known independent in the area who have a few stores across Birmingham are seeking a part time optometrist in one of their established stores. Having been in the industry for almost 40 years they take pride in the service that they offer to their patients, making sure the quality of work is very satisfactory and making sure the customer exits the store with a fond memory. They have expanded the business over the years and are always looking at ways to develop the company and their stores. 

The Position

We are seeking a confident and strong optometrist who can commit to a part time position of 2 to 3 days. The store offers diabetic screening so you must have this as a qualification and feel comfortable dealing with these types of patients. Working with a small team that will make you feel very welcome, you will be expected to build strong relationships with the patients that you see as well as providing an excellent service. Offering a full time salary of up to £50,000 plus many benefits!

The Location

The ideal location for the optometrist to be based is in Birmingham or it's surrounding areas with good travel links or a car.

Requirements

• GOC registered
• Clean and faultless GOC record
• Part time commitment 
• Be able to carry out diabetic screening
