A stylish independent Opticians in Central Birmingham in are looking for a full time Dispensing Optician or Optical Assistant to join the team. This is a very niche, high end Opticians stocking a variety of bespoke and luxury frames.
Dispensing Optician/Optical Assistant - The Role
- Bespoke independent Opticians
- Working with eyewear brands not often seen on the highstreet
- Dispensing high quality frames and lenses depending on lifestyle, fashion and budget.
- Spending time with each patient to understand personal requirements.
- Working closely with the director to actively drive the business forward
- Dealing with complex patient queries
- Providing outstanding levels of customer service
- Working in a team a small team of 3-4 people
- Stock management and stock selection
- Marketing
Dispensing Optician/Optical Assistant - The Person
- Qualified Dispensing Optician registered with the GOC
- Experienced Optical Assistant will also be considered
- Interest in Optical fashion and the latest trends
- Customer focused
- Confident
- Mixture of sales skills and clinical professionalism
- Self-motivated
- Ambitious
This is a full time role working 5 days a week including Saturdays. Typical working hours will be from 10am to 6pm.
Salary for an Optical Assistant - £18,000 ro £21,000 DOE
Salary for a Dispensing Optician - £25,000 to £30,000 DOE
