Europe’s leading online contact lens retailer are looking for a contact lens expert to join their rapidly growing eCommerce business. This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic, innovative and fun- loving team.

This position sits within the content team at our Head Office in vibrant Camden, and will work alongside our team of 5 copywriters to quality- control the information being produced for our 8 international websites. The candidate will need proven experience within the contact lens industry, preferably time spent in- store as a lens dispenser or a team trainer.

The ideal candidate should be undeniably passionate about all things contact lenses, and have a sound knowledge of products, brands, manufacturers, and most importantly, wearers.

Your mission

• Be the in-house go- to product expert, unafraid to share knowledge and expertise
• Develop and deliver product training induction program to new and current staff at head office
• Identify any knowledge gaps within the department or wider business, and deliver education pieces to help fill these
• Review, advise and feed- into new content pieces to support output of copy team
• Call upon first- hand customer experience to identify pain points for lens wearers and use this insight to help drive content strategy
• Share knowledge of industry trends and new products to wider marketing team

The person we’re looking for

The key requirements we’re looking for in your application are:

• 3-5 years experience of the optics industry is essential, ideally working in- store as a contact lens dispenser or a product trainer
• A self- educator, constantly abreast of any industry news, trends or product innovations
• Possess ability to draft or suggest concepts for articles to feature on- site as part of our ‘written by experts’ guides
• A self- driven solutions person, who thrives within a fast- paced, collaborative environment.
• Native EN speaker who lives and breaths contact lenses.
• Ability to communicate knowledge and experience of the industry through excellent written and verbal skills
• Have a true desire to want to improve the lives of contact lens wearers and be vocal in how you think as a brand we can make this possible
• Possess an analytical mindset to help seek ways in which we can constantly improve our content offering
