A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Optometrist at the Specsavers Melton Mowbray store and there’s so much to shout about! The store are looking for a professional, flexible and patient centred Optometrist with an interest in self-improvement to join their team.

Melton Mowbray has been established for 25 years, and recently had a refit last year so the store is in perfect condition and benefits from having all the mod-cons! The layout includes the latest Specsavers design concept, iharmony, which has involved significant investment in technology, including tablets, to improve customer experience in store. The store has 4 test rooms, plus a dedicated hearcare room, all on the same floor, and with all of the latest equipment, including OCT.

The store currently employs a long serving, experienced and friendly team of around 19 members of staff, 3 of which are qualified Optometrists, who aim to deliver the highest levels of customer service and care at all times. They are a very close-knit team which ensures they have strong working relationships – making teamwork completely effortless! 

The directors are keen to embrace employee development, and are motivated to promote training ILM, and have previously put an Optom through the Pathway course to becoming a Joint Venture Partner. The possibilities really are endless.

Melton Mowbray is a small market town in Leicestershire located about 15 miles from Leicester, and 18 miles from Nottingham. The store is easily commutable by car with free parking available. There are also great transport links with the cross-country train line to locations such as Leicester and Peterborough, and bus routes to the surrounding areas.
