Optical Assistant position

This practice is new and very modern in a prime shopping centre location. You will be working alongside an experience and professional team lead by passionate and friendly directors. This is a busy practice with room to grow further. This company is an industry leader in staff development and you will be given every opportunity to progress.

Responsibilities of the Optical Assistant.

Your role will be a shop floor based position where you will welcome patients into the practice and help them all the way through their journey. You will conduct pre-screen tests and hand over to the optometrist. You will then help them with frame styling and lens options before dispensing glasses to all levels. You will also be involved with all associated admin and reception duties and may be required to conduct contact lens teaches.

Requirements of the Optical Assistant

To apply for this position you must have at least 12 months of optical experience and the ability to dispense glasses to all levels, pre-screen and contact lens teach. You will be friendly and professional with a bubbly, outgoing personality.

Compensation for the Optical Assistant

On offer for your efforts is a competitive salary of £16,500 + additional benefits to be discussed at interview.
