A fantastic independent Opticians based in Sutton, South London are looking to recruit a part time time Dispensing Optician to work 4.5 days a week.
Dispensing Optician - The Practice
- Well established practice, in the local area for over 50 years
- Patient focused
- Advanced dispensing equipment such as iPad and Smart Mirrors, auto focimeter and frame tracers
- Optix patient management system
- Access to the latest frames and lenses
- Two testing rooms - Double tests most days
- Working alongside a Dispensing Optician Manager
- Freedom to use any manufacturer
Dispensing Opticians - Role
- Dispensing to all levels
- Checking orders
- Ordering
- Product promotion
- Business admin
- Working 4.5 days a week, including a half day on a Saturday, typical working hours are from 9am to 5.30pm.(9am to 1pm on a Sat)
- Salary between £28,000 to £35,000
- ABDO and GOC fees paid
Dispensing Optician - Requirements
- Qualified Dispensing Optician registered with the GOC
- Experience of working within a similar style independent Opticians
- Outgoing and friendly personality
- Passionate about optics
