A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Optometrist at the Specsavers Glasgow Fort store and there’s so much to shout about!

Based on the outskirts of Glasgow City Centre, the store is perfectly located within a busy Shopping Centre that benefits from FREE parking! Walking into the store, you will be greeted by a dynamic and friendly bunch who clearly love their jobs. This creates a wonderful atmosphere for customers and is testimony to the stores success in building a loyal customer base in such a short space of time.

Glasgow Fort was established in 2015, so the store is still in perfect condition and benefits from having all the mod-cons! The layout includes the latest Specsavers design concept, iharmony, which has involved significant investment in technology, including tablets, to improve customer experience in store.

The store currently employs 5 Optoms and a pre-reg who all work out of 5 test rooms. 4 short form and one dual purpose for Hearcare and Trial Frames. Within the test rooms you will discover DRS technology that enables Optoms to be able to view and show patients results on an IPad. At Glasgow Fort, PX Healthcare is always at the forefront.

As with all Specsavers Stores, employee development is embraced. Two of the current optoms are in the final stages of the Independent Prescribing course and another is partway through the Pathway course to becoming a Joint Venture Partner. The possibilities really are endless.
