Optometrist Position

This company are looking for a 3 -5 day week Optometrist. This company is passionate about service and delivering the very best experience to their customers possible. Within this position you will be well supported by a Qualified Dispensing Optician and some very well trained support staff. You’ll get involved with the local community perhaps by joining local healthcare committees, or by doing something else you’re passionate about that will raise the companies profile. Whichever, with this company it’s all about working as a team to deliver a stunning service, so you’ll be involved in coaching staff too.

Responsibilities of the Optometrist

As an Optometrist, you’ll not only be responsible for the Clinical Service: conducting sight tests and contact lens fittings. You’ll be heavily involved in the commercial development too, which means bringing great new ideas and initiatives and marketing your department effectively, ensuring sales soar. You will work alongside the practice manager to help tailor and deliver training to colleagues.

Requirements of the Optometrist

To apply for this position you will be a fully qualified GOC registered Optometrist who is up to date with all CET requirements. You will be able to work within 20 minute time slots and you will be able to help lead a team and deliver fantastic results.
