YOU MUST BE A QUALIFIED DISPENSING OPTICIAN REGISTERED ON THE GOC.

Come and work for a very clinical, high end, family run independent, 9:00-5:30, No Sundays or Bank Holidays.

I am currently working with a well established family run independent who have recently celebrated their 40th anniversary, this independent has an excellent reputation in the area mainly from word of mouth and repeat business.

Very high end, modern practice with all the latest equipment – OCT, Low Vision, Dyslexia screening, and a very busy contact lens clinic.

Responsibilities of the Qualified Dispensing Optician

You will be able to confidently and competently be able to dispense to all levels, pre-screen and contact lens teach.
A key part of this role is to work efficiently as part of a team, be able to support your fellow colleagues and work together to be able to provide a high level of customer service.
My client prides themselves of their image they have built over the past 40 years and are therefore looking for passionate, enthusiastic individuals looking for a long term career to grow alongside the practice.

Requirements of the Qualified Dispensing Optician

You must be GOC registered and up to date with CET points
Be able to provide excellent service to each and every patient
Be driven and want to develop within your role
Be able to work individually and as part of a team
Working 5 days 9:00-5:30 Monday to Saturday (No Sundays or Bank holidays)

Compensation for the Qualified Dispensing Optician

For your efforts there is a very rewarding and competitive salary on offer – £25,000-£30,000 + a rewarding bonus scheme given to all employees. As well as this you will receive a pension, fees paid and 20 day holiday + bank holidays.
Ongoing career development is also encouraged and paid for with various courses on offer e.g. low vision, OCT and more.
