A very exciting opportunity has become available for a customer focused Qualified Dispensing Optician on a full time, permanent basis in Liverpool. I am recruiting currently for a franchise of one of the UK’s most trusted optical brands. This is a brand new modern practice, with all the latest equipment They have a very friendly and welcoming team in place, who all work for each other to deliver the highest levels of customer care.

Responsibilities of the Qualified Dispensing Optician

The role will entail dispensing spectacles to all levels, conducting pre-screen tests and contact lens teaches. You will also be required to carry out frame styling and give patients advice on best options. Reception duties and general admin will also be a part of the role and helping with the smooth running of the practice.

Requirements of the Qualified Dispensing Optician

As a qualified Dispensing Optician within this practice you will work as one of the primary dispensers on the shop floor. You will lead by example dealing with the majority of paediatric and complex dispensing. You will be on hand to help junior members of the team with any difficult questions and general trouble shooting. As a member of the stores clinical team you will have a valued input with best practice and clinical compliance.
