Dispensing Opticain Position

A very well established independent practice is looking for an experienced Dispensing Opticain for a permanent 5 day position with family friendly hours.

This practice is well situated in a bustling South East London location and has a very long standing and loyal customer base. They have a split of private and NHS patients and a frame selection to match all budgets.

Responsibilities of the Dispensing Opticain

The role will entail dispensing spectacles to all levels, offering your expert opinion and helping patients to make selections. Reception duties and general admin will also be a part of the role and helping with the smooth running of the practice.

Requirements for the Dispensing Opticain

Ideally, you will have experience working in independent practice, able to dispense, trouble shoot varifocals and dispense children from a young age. A friendly and personable demeanour and strong personal work ethic. A customer focused approach to your work and the ability to build a strong rapport with customers and colleagues alike.

Compensation for the Optical Assistant

On offer is a competitive salary of upto £32’000 and favourable working hours including short Saturday hours and No Sundays / bank holidays!
